Saturdays 11.30am - 12.30pm held at Haverstock School
These are our infant beginner classes where we teach through stories, songs and games and is a really fun lesson where we start the structure of training. There are many important first lessons, like turn taking and fun interaction. On the technical side, all the shapes, rolls and movements are directly related to gymnastics moves. It is the most exciting class and the results of training come almost immediately. These classes are based primarily on age.
Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.30pm, Saturdays 9.30am - 10.30am and 12.30pm - 1.30pm held at Haverstock School
Our Tumblies progress to our Bouncers Beginners class once they have started mastering the basic gymnastics moves, again turn taking and fun interaction feature strongly in this class as do mastering progressions for gymnastics moves.
Please note that for our Tuesday class at 4.30pm, parents/carers are not permitted to enter the school before 5.30pm due to safeguarding policies in place. Our coaches will meet all gymnasts at the main school entrance and escort them into the hall.
Tuesdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm and Saturdays 10.30am - 11.30am and 12.30pm - 1.30pm held at Haverstock School
This class focuses on further building on the core aspects of gymnastics, such as strength, shape and flexibility in order to develop more complex acrobatic skills. The class structure is very similar to that of the beginners and advanced classes, with different set ups aimed at this focus groups specific progression needs.
Thursday 4.30pm - 5.30pm and Saturdays 9am - 10.30am held at Haverstock School
There is more emphasis on progressions in this class; gymnasts are growing in confidence through strength conditioning, which assists in mastering the more technical gymnastic elements. Gymnasts in this class will be doing a lot more strength and flexibility work alongside their acrobatic skills.
Tuesdays from 6pm - 7pm and Saturdays from 12pm - 1.30pm at Haverstock School
This class is all about consolidating progressions into skills. The classes are much more structured, designed to increase skill, strength, flexibility and stamina ready for more advanced skills, and there are drills to help children find their potential. We strive to have a very good teacher to pupil ratio so each gymnast receives the coaching they need to fulfill their potential.
Held at Haverstock School
Junior Squad: Tuesdays from 4.30pm - 6pm and Saturdays from 9am - 11am
Senior Squad: Thursdays from 5.30pm - 7pm and Saturdays from 10.30am - 12.30pm
These classes are invite only. Gymnasts should be able to complete different elements in order to be invited to join these classes which are directed on a more challenging route. New gymnasts would need to be assessed before being invited to join these classes.
This gym is about positive attitudes. From the "can do" approach toward all athletes to seeing the staff enthusiastically praise a gymnast when they get a new tumbling skill.
From the beginning, the message has been, "You are capable, and you are welcome here!"
